Yesterday we were off school. I have two modes on snow days. 1. Do all the things and show my husband he didn’t marry an undomestic blob and 2. Be an undomestic blob.

We had a snow day last week where I did absolutely nothing except read my book and yell at my children. So yesterday, I opted to keep my husband guessing and did all the things. I washed sheets in my new washer and dryer, wiped down walls, interacted with my children, bathed them, turned on the robot vacuum, cooked, AND organized some drawers. (Just once, when he walks in I want him to notice that the kids are alive AND supper is on the table. 😀)

But, as a bonus, I even made a pie. A pie! I feel like making a dessert, any desert, on top of supper is reserved for only the most experienced, best domestic women. Like Ree Drummond. Desert is not for the mediocre. It’s a big deal. Not only did I feed them all, but I also LOVE them so much, but I also went above and beyond and slaved over a pie so that they could cap off a delicious homemade meal (that the kids wouldn’t eat) with a party in their mouths.

Only this pie was no-bake. And that graham cracker crust was one that I bought for Thanksgiving and didn’t use. But no one needs to know that.
It’s rich and my family enjoyed it! It’s very easy and can be made with things you likely have in your pantry.

(I am fairly certain you aren’t visiting this blog for award-winning photography. I meant to snap a pic when it was untouched, but the best-laid plans never work for me.)

Cookie Dough PieIngredients:-Graham cracker crust (make your own if you are superhuman but the rest of us will be buying the store-bought pre-made).

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

-1/3 cup sugar-1/3 cup brown sugar

-1/3 cup butter, softened

-1/2 tsp salt-1 tsp vanilla

-2 tablespoons milk

Topping:- 3/4 cup of milk chocolate chips

-1/3 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

-2 TBS of butter

Start by putting your flour in a bowl and microwaving for 90 seconds. I have no idea why, but that is what Pinterest said. Set aside.

Cream together your butter and two sugars, salt, and vanilla with an electric mixer. Mine is broke. I didn’t do this and added all my ingredients at the same time. My cookie dough was a little granular.

Then add in your flour in small amounts, beating to incorporate it. When it’s all mixed, add your chocolate chips and spread it in your graham cracker crust.

Melt your butter and milk chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips and incorporate them.

Spread over cookie dough. Chill for one hour. Before serving remove from refrigerator and let it come to room temperature so that the chocolate won’t crack when you slice.

I hope you enjoy!
